This period Brooklyn Dodgers baseball jersey is from the the 1939 to the 1941 baseball season.This was a time period when the Dodgers were in New York City. The jersey has number 29 on its back. Excellent condition. This jersey is marked size 40 Wilson Sports equipment,Wilson Sporting Goods Company. Made in USA.The gray flannel jersey is lettered "Dodgers" across the chest in script. All letters and numbers are in blue This jersey came to us from the private collection of one of the Brooklyn Dodgers owners at that time named Joe Petterman. We have a collection of original photographs from the late 1930 to 1941 period we will be selling also
