Mexican silver bracelet Antonio Pineda

"Antonio Pienda Sterling silver jewelry" Antonio Pienda Taxco Mexico silversmith. Antonio Pienda was born in 1919,a Taxquenian whose family had been part of the community for generations.This solid sterling silver bracelet was made between 1947 and 1950 and has original Pienda hall marks inside.It is a masterpiece of silver design. This heavy cuff bracelet measures 2 and three quarters inches wide,1/8 inch thick.The inside measurements are 2 5/8 inches by 2 and three quarters inches. It has a 1 5/8 inch opening in its back. Weights 190 grams! The figures are carved into the piece at least 1/8 inches deep. The figures were designed so they appear to dance as the piece is moved.
